EVENT CONSULTATION

We offer full Event Consultation Services to help you get the most out of your event. Our event consultation is broken up into four pillars: Talent Management, Budgeting, Location Scouting, and Content/Design. These four pillars come together to support your event goals. We will help review your whole event to ensure these pillars are in unison and work in synergy. 

TALENT

Let us help you source the talent for your event. We have connections with some of the industry’s top keynote speakers and we can help identify talent that might not be an obvious choice but will speak to your audience, making your event fresh and memorable.

We can source: Keynote speakers, event entertainment, freelancers to help pre, during, or post event and find the right Broadcast teams to help maximize your event’s reach.

BUDGET

Need help trying to figure out how much your budget should be for your event? Do you have ideas for your event but no idea if your budget can cover it? Have a quote from an event agency or freelancer and you have no idea if it is a fair price? Got a technical list from your broadcast partners and surprised by the cost?

We offer budget management and reviews to help guide you and make sure you’re not being taken advantage of. Usually we work with a small flat fee + % of money saved so you can be sure we are getting you the best rate for your event.

LOCATION

Location is everything! From Visa requirements, and Covid-19 requirements to finding venues that fit your broadcast needs we can help you. Depending on your event you might require more from your venue than you realize. Partnering with us ensures that you get the most bang for your buck. 

VENUE FINDING: Did you know that some venues will cost you thousands more in hidden fees such as union requirements even though they seem affordable on the surface?

INCENTIVE TRAVEL: We can help identify the new hotspots for incentive travel to motivatie your team. Our connections with suppliers worldwide to help in the onsite management of your trips. 

CONTENT

Here we manage everything that goes into the event itself. The logistics, creative and Goals of your event. If you know you need an event, but you don’t quite know what you want to do, or what you’re trying to get out of it then we can help you pinpoint these goals. 

EVENT MANAGEMENT

If You’re overwhelmed we offer full event managment services for projects that we find interesting. We don’t take on everything, but if you’re lucky enough to have us agree to take this on, then you know you’re going to get a great event.

OUR FOUNDERS

SCOTT & William’s Story began at the University of Surrey in Guildford, UK. They were randomly placed next door to each other in the same “international” cluster housing (STAG HILL). They both completed their Masters of Science in Tourism Management and International Event Management, respectively. They talked about starting their own business together, and after a few years establishing themselves in the industry, they made those talks a reality. SAGA EVENT MANGEMENT was officially launched in March of 2020, right along with the COVID-19 Pandemic. Despite the hardship the industry saw, Saga Event Management has survived.

SCOTT PETERS

When he’s not cooped up in his office working on logistics, you’ll usually find Scott somewhere out in the local mountains or on the ocean enjoy the great wilderness here in BC. Before earning his MSc at the University of Surrey (UK) he worked in the not-for-profit sector as a consultant for sustainable tourism operations around the world and as a campaign associate for the United Way helping corporations expand their fundraising potential through workplace campaigns and events. Scott believes in the great social potential that events provide when executed properly and is excited to bring his knowledge and ideas to help provide more exciting and interactive events to Vancouver and Canada at large.

WILLIAM BAILEY

William is a fan of all things creative, from bonsai to writing. He fell into events while seeking new experiences and ways to continue learning about different fields. He has spent 1/3 of his life traveling and living abroad in both Asia & Europe. Formally educated with an MSc in International Event Management from the University of Surrey in the UK, William has worked on a range of events; from small team building and educational events during his years in Japan to large conferences while working for a C&IT top 50 Agency in London. He believes events have the power to connect people of all cultures and transport them to magical places. William brings vast international event experience with him and looks forward to contributing to Canada’s growing event industry.
